My darling, Sara-Lee...
How time flies, I can't believe it's been almost 2 weeks since I've blogged. I have been busy designing and knitting in that time so I do have an excuse :) Here is my latest baby and I love her...

I've christened her Sara-Lee because when I first started knitting her she reminded me of strawberries and with strawberries comes summer and then I thought of summer desserts which lead me to gateau because of the alternating colours and then I thought of who makes gateau - Sara-Lee. Pure logic I thought though hubby gave me a worrying look when I explained the origins of the name. I will be making this pattern available when I have finished. I am thinking of attending a Rowan design workshop called 'Can't find it then design it' on the 14th if anyone has been on this workshop in the past, please let me know how it went.
Today is the first day of the summer reading challenge and I have been very good and got a head start. I started to read 'Their Eyes were Watching God' a week ago but I really didn't like it and gave up after page 70. Usually I give a book 50 pages to warm up before I decide whether or not to carry on reading it and I really wanted to like this one which is why I gave it 70 pages but I found it really boring so it had to go. I am now reading Skinny Dip by Carl Hiaasen which is showing a lot of promise I am only on page 21 but I hope the beginning is a sign of what's to come...
... and I last thing. I sold another of my bags on my Etsy store this morning which pleased me no end. The bag is on its way to hopefully sunny California as we speak. My green bag that I posted earlier is now available for sale too.

Glad to see I'm not the only one that gives up on books! My mom slogs on through them and I told her there are just tooo many books out there and not enough time to mess around with books you don't like!!!!
